The first of Barrentine's 10 original FunikiJam Off Broadway & Touring Musicals, "ROCK OR TREAT" premiered in 2015 at the Times Scare / Elektra Theatre in NYC's historic Theatre District and remains a celebrated tradition / NY TIMES & TIMEOUT pick for best family events in New York City.

In addition to NYC shows & events, 2022's 7th Anniversary Production brought ROCK or TREAT to Central Florida with the Regional Premiere of the Off Broadway hit presented by Orlando Rep with a cast of Broadway veterans and Orlando Locals.

FunikIJam Debut "Rock or Treat" Regional Premiere

Lauren is so excited to join FunikiJam as an agent of Jam! She is a local actor and has been seen on stages all throughout the Central Florida area. She has also sang with witches at Universal Stusios, as well as done puppetry with various characters across Walt Disney World. She is so thankful to be back at the Rep!

Fun fact: I actually am from Florida, which is kinda rare.

Solmarie Cruz, Agent Melody

FunikiJam Debut "Rock or Treat" Regional Premiere

Solmarie is thrilled to appear in her first production at the Orlando Repertory Theatre, and to be a part of the Funikijam crew! Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she moved to Orlando with her parents and brother at the age of nine. She is a proud graduate of Rollins College where she received a Bachelor of Arts in music performance, and was an active member of the Bach Festival Society Choir. When she is not performing, she can typically be found eating M&Ms and rewatching episodes of Gilmore Girls. On stage, she was most recently seen playing Maria in CTCo’s West Side Story, and also has credits in local productions of In the Heights, Guys and Dolls, The Secret Garden, All Shook Up and A Year with Frog and Toad. Kyle Jack is super psyched to return to the role of Agent Keona in his Orlando Rep Debut! Kyle graduated with an MBA from Grand Canyon University. Some of his favorite credits include Rubble in "Paw Patrol Live! The Great Pirate Adventure," Hud in "Hair the Musical," The Cowardly Lion in "The Wizard of Oz" (Enlightened Theatrics; Won BroadwayWorld.com award for Best Featured Actor), Judas in "Godspell" at Penn State and "Snoopy" at Plaza Theatrics. He wants to thank his family and friends for their support.

Brian Radock, Agent Bongo & Musical Director

The FunikiJam Show "Rhythm Boom Boom " Off Broadway and China Tour "Rock or Treat" Regional Premiere

Brian Radock is a multifaceted and internationally acclaimed percussionist/drummer in multiple facets of the music industry.

Originally from Orlando, FL, Brian moved to New York City after receiving his Bachelor’s Degree from Rollins College and his Master’s Degree at the University of Alabama, where he was also a teacher, composer, and arranger for the acclaimed Million Dollar Band.

Since moving to New York City in 2011, Brian has performed with 50+ musicals, 60+ bands and artists, and more than a dozen Symphony Orchestras as principal percussion and/or guest soloist.

Brian has performed and held chairs on Broadway, Off-Broadway, in Carnegie Hall 9 times, in Lincoln Center, at Disney World and Universal Studios in Orlando, and many other places across the globe on a wide range of percussion instruments.

Recently, Brian joined Jennifer Hudson as the first live percussionist in her band and was accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Brian is thrilled to be the Music Director of this Funikijam show, but this is not the first time Brian has had the pleasure of working with Funikijam shows. He has toured China twice with the Funikijam show “Rhythm Boom Boom” and performed on several of their Off-Broadway shows in NYC.

Brian has also toured Italy 3 times with a folk trio, toured Europe with a rock band, and toured Japan as a concerto soloist and music ambassador at the World Expo.

Other world renown artists Brian has performed with include Joe Hisaishi (Academy Award Winning Composer for Spirited Away), Rickey Minor (Whitney Houston), Josh Young (Tony Award Nominee), Fred Nelson III (Aretha Franklin), Jenn Colella (Tony Award Nominee for Come From Away), Chilina Kennedy (Beautiful: The Carol King Musical), Kansas (Legendary Rock Band), Andrew W.K., Questlove (The Roots), Chris McQueen (Snarky Puppy), Paul Jackson Jr. (Michael Jackson), Lucy Woodward, Steven Curtis Chapman, Chris Martin (Chicago Symphony), Casting Crowns, and Lauren Daigle.

Brian relocated to Atlanta in March 2020 and just got married to his incredible wife and fellow music teacher Elexa Bancroft in June 2022.
